    Hi, Andrei,
Incredible job on the review! Very detailed and carefully composed.
I think the G14 is many people's favorite laptop. It really deserves a review at this high level!

You allow us to form an opinion based on many many facts and that is so useful.

    Our most sincere gratitude. :-)

I'm mainly missing the vapor chamber on this new version of the G14. Hopefully ASUS will figure out how to incorporate it on next year's model with 9000 series processor.
On my 2023 model, the vapor chamber allow me to run all day long in Silent mode with coolers completely Off, except for half an hour or so every once in a while when I turn on Turbo mode.

I've been missing the fingerprint reader as well, but unfortunately that is unlikely to come back. ASUS is only interested in the Windows Login process, forgetting that there are hundreds (if not thousands) of programs and applications that still use fingerprint for authentication. I'm using an external USB one, but I'd rather have the reader embedded like before.

Asus tend to use the same chassis for 2 years, so 2025 G14 should be the same design as this year. Since they lowered the power settings, the cooling in this model is fine, you don't really need more than that.

I'll have a separate article on an Optimized Silent profile that I'm using which allows for 80% of the GPU performance at 35 dBA noise levels. The default Silent mode is not adequate imo.

In Canada at Best Buy, there is a RTX4060 variant with 32gb RAM for about $300-400 less than the RTX4070 32gb variant. That’s probably the one I’d get if I were to upgrade from my 2021 G14!

My testing of the ASUS ROG Zephyr 14 inch over the years was just OK. I much preferred the excellent keyboard and trackpad on the ASUS ROG X13 Flow. That laptop was a tremendous value – and I both two with different year models. The only major annoyance was the use of plastic and rubber silicone bumpers on the palm deck. Those bumnpers would fall out and could not be replaced. Trying to replace the entire palm deck just never happened because ASUS never had them available.

Great, very powerful and capable 13 inch laptop. My favorite ASUS system.
